BLS offers many types of data for regions, states and local areas. One of the more interesting is the American Time Use Survey. (See below).
American Time Use Survey collects such data as this: in 2015-16, 16% of the U.S. population provided unpaid eldercare to others. On a given day in that year, 26% of eldercare providers engaged in eldercare, spending an avg. of 2.8 hours per day.
