Journal Articles: Electronic Journals

Suggestions for choosing a research database, accessing the full-text of articles, and searching databases.

Electronic Journal Locator

Hekman Library subscribes to or has access to more than 25,000 electronic journals. The e-Journal Locator helps you discover which e-Journals we "own."

  • Title: Enter a full or partial journal title (This search can also be done using the library's catalog.)
  • Category: Provides a list of journals in a subject area
  • Locate: Provides a list by publisher
  • CitationLinker: Enter important parts of the article citation to determine if the library has access to the electronic article. The most important data elements are "journal title," "volume," "issue," and "last name."  We recommend that you do not attempt to complete most or every field.

BrowZine also indexes our online journals, but its purpose is to help you keep aware of the most current issues in specific journals.  You may select the journal titles you want to monitor, or it can track groups of top journals in certain subject areas.

For more info, see our libguide to using BrowZine.
