Library Catalog: Browse the Catalog

Browse the Catalog

One search option that the Library Catalog offers is Browse the Catalog.

In Browse, you can enter an author or a title and see any exact matches, as well as all of the titles or authors that are nearby alphabetically.

This function could be useful if you can only remember the first word of a title or the first few letters of an authors name and don't want to weed through the hundreds of search results.

In the browse function, you are able to look through a list of titles or authors that are similar to your original search term, but that wouldn't come up in a basic or advanced search.
