ARTstor is an image collection which documents artistic traditions across all times and cultures and embraces architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, decorative arts, and design as well as many other forms of visual and material culture.
This rich resource features over 45,000 signed articles, 5,500 images, 40,000 image links, timelines of world art, Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) lesson plans, and links to ARTstor. Once you've searched for a topic, limit your results under "Format" to find actual images
Includes examples of key artists' works (from slides). Each image is thoroughly described and can be loaded in medium or high resolution. Instructional aids are organized into folders: architecture, ceramics, fiber, and maps.
