Subject headings are often a more accurate and comprehensive way of searching for a topic than keyword searching. Subject headings can be found on the left-hand column of search results in the catalog, or at the end of a book's catalog entry.

Remember to try searching for art by the country, time period, medium, style, or school of art. You can also search for particular artists by name; for very famous artists there may be too many results, so you might want to add to your subject search things like "portraits" or "sketchbooks" or "criticism."
