Faith and Science

To find articles from an explicitly Christian viewpoint is not easy unless you are searching a religion database. We recommend these three:

• ATLA Religion database (tends to be highly scholarly with many peer-reviewed publications)
• Christian Periodical Index (more popular literature for the average lay person)
• Christian Reformed Church Periodical Index (indexes publications of the CRC, Calvin Seminary, and Calvin University)
• Science Citation Index (Tip: Search for "Christianity" as a TOPIC and then narrow from there to specific sciences. Can also try this with keywords such as faith, religion, morality, ethics).

When you are searching other databases, you can find articles from a faith perspective by using such keywords as faith, religion, religious, moral, Christian(ity), (or Jewish/Judaism, or Muslim/Islam).

• Science and Christian Belief (online access from 2002 to current)
• Journal of Psychology and Christianity (online access from 2006 to current)
