LGBTQ+: A Human Sexuality Guide

Librarian-curated guide to resources and information on LGBTQ+ topics. The majority of these resources are library holdings; suggestions for additional material are from Calvin's Sexuality Series and other departments and faculty at the university.

Welcome to the Research Guide for LGBT+ Studies!

This guide draws partially from the Calvin Sexuality Series; here you will find suggestions for specific library resources related to LGBTQ+ studies, learn more about different issues and perspectives, connect with LGBTQ+ groups on and off-campus, and get more help from your research librarian, as well as connect with the Sexuality Series' resources!

The Sexuality Series at Calvin University is meant to help students "explore topics of sexuality, relationships, and gender from a Christian perspective - promoting safety, inclusion, chastity, justice, and respectful dialogue." They sponsor on-going lectures and activities on-campus for all students, and they provide a lot of support and conversation specifically for LGBTQ+ students. Interested in learning more or contacting their team? Visit the Sexuality Series' webpage below:
