Dig Deeper into Opera and Musical Theatre

If you are interested in opera or musical theater, including Broadway, you can find lots of resources at the Hekman Library. In the Cayvan Collection, you'll find CDs of Broadway and other theater music, as well as some DVD film adaptations of musicals such as Les Miserables. Also, you can search for music resources such as sheet music and song books in the Choral Music Collection or in the main collection. Here on this page are a few more particular resources you may also find helpful in learning more about opera and musical theater, including reference sources to give you some background information, websites for opera and theater news and reviews, and some online sources for sheet music. And remember, you can always ask your research librarian for more help finding what you're looking for.
