GreenFILE is a research database focusing on the relationship between human beings and the environment, with information on topics ranging from global warming to recycling to alternate fuel sources and beyond.
JSTOR has an Environmental Science collection of 60 journals as of 07/18. The drawback is that most of them, although they begin with volume 1, issue 1, do not bring you up-to-date with the latest year. Most are 2-3 years behind the current year.
Opposing Viewpoints in Context covers contemporary social issues, from offshore drilling to climate change. Includes pro/con viewpoint essays, as well as journal and news articles, primary source materials and legal sources.
CQ Researcher provides original, comprehensive reporting and analysis on issues in the news. Each lengthy report is written by an experienced journalist and is fact-checked and footnoted to facilitate further research.
